What are the Tarot Cards?
Tarot Cards are mysterious arcane cards that have a connection to the outer universe. At least, that is how the story is told. In truth, Tarot cards are a very personal connection to your intuition and your life as a whole. Before we get into how to use the Tarot cards and what each one's meaning is, lets dive into some history of the Tarot.
The earliest information and references to the Tarot cards dates back to about 1440s and the 1450s. It was initially the 56 Minor arcanas with each suit starting from the standard Ace of X, to the King of X. In addition to those cards, there is the first Major Arcana: The Fool. The Tarot would continue to expand over the centuries and eventually we would land where we are today associating the Tarot with fortune tellings and readings.
Remember, simply because the Tarot is a tool now for fortune telling and readings we should NOT abuse its arcane potential. The Tarot are meant to guide us when we need or want that guidance. The Tarot will never outright tell us the future or what path to take. But it will offer its guidance to us so that we may find out best selves and manifest our greatest futures.
